Ekşi emphasized that the 36 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft in THY’s fleet are operating safely, saying, “All 36 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft in the THY family are flying safely.”
Major Order Agreement with Boeing
Following the meeting between President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and U.S. President Donald Trump, THY decided to purchase a total of 150 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft under its agreement with Boeing, including 100 firm orders and 50 options.
Boeing’s Global Delivery Figures
Sharing Boeing’s latest delivery and order figures, Ekşi said, “Boeing delivered a total of 545 737 MAX aircraft worldwide in 2024 and 2025 and received 793 737 MAX orders.”
