The Russian Ministry of Defence announced that intense night-time strikes were carried out on Ukraine’s military-industrial enterprises and airport infrastructure using long-range precision weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles.
The Russian Ministry of Defence issued a statement regarding the strikes on military targets in Ukraine. The ministry reported that throughout the night, military-industrial facilities and airport infrastructure were hit with long-range high-precision weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
The statement noted that Russian operations against Ukraine are ongoing, saying: “During the night, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out intense air and sea strikes with long-range high-precision weapons and UAVs against enterprises operating in Ukraine’s military-industrial sector and its military airport infrastructure.”
The Russian side claimed the attacks targeted only military assets, while Ukrainian authorities have not yet made an official statement on the matter.
