Antalya-based trading company Lavanta has signed a significant cooperation agreement with Airbus Helicopters, one of the world’s leading helicopter manufacturers. As part of the agreement made at the 17th International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF’25), Lavanta will procure a total of three Airbus helicopters — one for private use and two for leasing operations.
Under the agreement, Airbus will deliver two H130 model helicopters for Lavanta’s leasing operations and one H125 model helicopter for private use. All aircraft will be stationed at Lavanta’s headquarters in Antalya.
This partnership marks both Lavanta’s first step into rotary-wing aircraft operations and its first agreement with Airbus Helicopters.
Lavanta Founder and General Manager Serkan Ergül commented on the deal:
“With these helicopters, we aim to take our experience from our Lavanta Ray engine leasing company a step further by offering helicopter rental services in the Antalya region. We believe we will fill a significant gap in this market.”

H125 and H130 Models: New Standards in Performance and Safety
The H125, part of Airbus Helicopters’ renowned Ecureuil family, stands out for its high performance and durability under challenging conditions. With more than 7,200 units delivered and over 40 million flight hours logged globally, it continues to lead the single-engine helicopter segment.
Meanwhile, the H130 model is widely preferred in the tourism sector due to its spacious cabin, low noise level, and capacity to carry up to seven passengers. These features make the H130 an ideal solution for charter and passenger transportation in tourism hubs like Antalya.
Lavanta’s new fleet will benefit from Airbus Helicopters’ global maintenance, spare parts, and technical support network, ensuring safe and uninterrupted operations from day one.
