Turkish Airlines Receives Four Awards from Capital500: Profit, Size, Export, and Sector Leadership

Turkish Airlines (THY) was awarded four prizes in the research of Turkey’s Top 500 Private Companies conducted by the economic magazine Capital. THY was recognized as the Most Profitable Company, the Second Largest Company in Turkey, the Company with the Highest Export, and the Leader in the Transportation Sector.

According to a statement from THY’s Press Office, Turkish Airlines received the “Most Profitable Company,” “Second Largest Company in Turkey,” “Company with the Highest Export,” and “First Place in the Transportation Sector” awards at the ceremony held in Istanbul. The awards were presented to THY’s CEO, Bilal Ekşi.

In his remarks, Ekşi expressed: “With the effort of our THY family, consisting of more than 85,000 people working on the ground, in the air, and around the world, today we are one of the leading airline companies in the world and the most valuable brand of our country. Therefore, I am accepting these proud awards on behalf of all my colleagues.”
