Tire Burst After Landing, Nose Landing Gear Damaged
The incident occurred after the SunExpress aircraft completed its scheduled flight from Stuttgart, Germany, to Gaziantep. According to initial findings, one of the aircraft’s tires burst, and damage was also sustained to the nose landing gear.

According to information provided by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, the 186 passengers and 6 crew members on board were safely evacuated without any adverse incidents.
Officials stated that no injuries were reported and confirmed that both the passengers and the crew were in good health.
Gaziantep Airport Runway Temporarily Closed
Following the incident, the runway at Gaziantep Airport was temporarily closed to flight operations as part of safety and rescue procedures.
After the damaged aircraft was safely removed and the necessary technical inspections were completed, the runway was reopened to air traffic and flight operations returned to normal.
