The Waldorf Astoria Miami Beach will be coming to the resort city’s sunny shores in winter 2027, marking the brand’s debut in the market.
Occupying a landmark oceanfront property on Collins Avenue, the hotel will debut following a comprehensive transformation, featuring 348 refreshed suites—all with ocean views and balconies—a reimagined arrival experience, including a new lobby and Peacock Alley, new culinary and wellness offerings, an enhanced pool deck and revitalized event spaces.
The new Hilton hotel will debut in partnership with Reuben Brothers, with Danny Hughes, President, Americas, Hilton, noting in a media statement that, “this signing reflects the continued momentum of Hilton’s luxury portfolio growth in highly sought-after destinations across the Americas. With a growing Florida presence that now spans from Orlando to South Florida, our luxury brands continue to resonate with travelers seeking bespoke experiences. Miami Beach is a globally renowned locale with strong demand for elevated hospitality, and we are proud to partner with Reuben Brothers to introduce Waldorf Astoria in a way that both celebrates the city’s character and sets a new benchmark for modern luxury.”
Added Kim Phoebus, COO of US Hotels, Reuben Brothers: “2201 Collins Avenue is one of Miami Beach’s most storied addresses and we are proud to announce our plans for a landmark restoration in partnership with Waldorf Astoria. Every room will feature a private balcony and sea view, while the public spaces will offer exceptional dining and elegant event venues. This meticulous restoration represents the next chapter of Miami’s most coveted beachfront address, and one that will continue to enrich the local economy and community for generations to come.”
