Following the cabinet meeting, President Erdoğan made key statements on aircraft procurement, Palestine, THY fleet targets, social housing projects, employment initiatives, and the fight against illegal betting.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, following the Presidential Cabinet Meeting, delivered important messages regarding both domestic and foreign policy. Criticising the opposition on aircraft procurement processes, Erdoğan stated, “Buying an aircraft is not like buying milk from a grocery store. You will identify your needs, plan accordingly, and reach an agreement after long negotiations.”

Foreign Policy and Palestine Message

Erdoğan highlighted that during the OIC–Arab League summit in Doha and his contacts at the 80th UN General Assembly, Turkey gave strong support to Palestine, criticised Israel, and reiterated calls for the recognition of the TRNC. He also noted that his meeting with US President Donald Trump covered trade, energy, defence, and regional crises.
