Turkish Airlines (THY) will implement an aircraft type change on its Istanbul–Beijing Capital and Istanbul–Osaka Kansai routes at the beginning of June 2026. As part of the change, Boeing 777-300ER and Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft will be mutually reassigned.
According to the information obtained, the planned aircraft types on the Beijing and Osaka routes will be changed on flights operated on 3 and 4 June 2026. The adjustment will be implemented as part of operational planning.

Aircraft Assignments to Be Swapped
According to the planning, the Boeing 777-300ER, which normally operates on the Istanbul–Beijing Capital route, will fly on the Istanbul–Osaka Kansai route on the specified dates. In return, the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner used on Osaka flights will be shifted to the Beijing route.
