Turkish Airlines Ready for Istanbul–Phnom Penh Flights

Turkish Airlines will launch direct Istanbul–Phnom Penh flights on 12 December 2025. The new route will strengthen Cambodia’s tourism and global connections.

Direct Service to Cambodia from Turkish Airlines: Istanbul–Phnom Penh Flights Begin

Starting from 12 December 2025, Turkish Airlines will launch direct flights from Istanbul to Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. The new route aims to boost Cambodia’s tourism potential.

Turkish Airlines (THY) announced that it will commence direct services on the Istanbul–Phnom Penh route as of 12 December 2025. Cambodia will thus become one of the latest destinations added to the flag carrier’s expanding flight network.

First Direct Flights to Techo International Airport

Cambodian Minister of Tourism Hout Hak received the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Cambodia, Ülkü Kocaefe, and her delegation. The meeting was also attended by Turkish Airlines Vice President Ümit Develi and company representatives. Discussions focused on the upcoming flights from Istanbul to Cambodia’s newly opened Techo International Airport.

Minister Hak expressed his gratitude for this significant cooperation, stating:

“Turkish Airlines launching direct flights to Cambodia will greatly contribute to making our country’s tourism potential more visible on the global stage. This partnership is a concrete indicator of the confidence placed in Cambodia.”

Contribution Expected to Cambodia’s Tourism

With Turkish Airlines’ direct flights, the number of international passengers and tourists arriving in Cambodia is expected to increase. Operating flights to 130 countries and more than 350 destinations worldwide, Turkish Airlines will integrate Cambodia into a much stronger global network through this new route.
