An Adventure Starting in Ankara Kaan Özenmiş, who began his parachuting career at the age of 15 by jumping from the Parachute Tower in Ankara without his family’s knowledge, continues to achieve significant milestones in his career.
Continuing to Break Records With 13 European and world records to his name so far, Özenmiş was among the 64 parachutists who broke two separate world records in jumps held in the USA on June 14 and 15.
World Vertical Sequential Formation Record In the first jump on June 14 at the Skydive Elsinore drop zone in California, USA, 64 parachutists sequentially and perfectly executed three separate formations previously notified to the judges, breaking the World Vertical Sequential Formation Record.
Second Record Jump On June 15, the record team broke a second world record by performing four separate formations in their second jump. This achievement was confirmed by the judges of the International Aeronautical Federation (FAI) and will be published on the FAI website shortly.
The Only Turkish Representative Kaan Özenmiş, also a pilot for Turkish Airlines, expressed his pride in representing Turkey as the only Turkish parachutist on the team.
