Turkish Airlines hosted an important diplomatic delegation at its General Management Building to further strengthen its economic cooperation with Georgia. The high-level delegation, led by Georgia’s Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Mariam Kvrivishvili, also included the Ambassador of Georgia to Türkiye, Archil Kalandia; Deputy Minister of Economy, Vakhtang Tsintsadze; Consul General in Istanbul, Aleksandre Jishkariani; Director General of Georgian State Electrosystem, Vano Zardiashvili; and Head of Strategic Communications, Tamta Gergedava.
During the meeting held as part of the visit, the economic and trade relations between the two countries and potential joint projects were discussed. A live connection was established with the Tbilisi office through the Turkish Airlines operations screen to evaluate performance over the past six months.
Officials underlined that Turkish Airlines continues to connect Georgia to the world through its extensive flight network and aims to boost mutual opportunities in both tourism and economic fields. It was also expressed that these meetings would contribute to the vision of strategic partnership between the two countries.
The Turkish Airlines management expressed their gratitude to the Georgian delegation for the significant visit and emphasised that long-term collaborations would support sustainable development.
