Turkish Airlines (THY) has updated its European flight planning for the 2026 summer season. According to the timetable revisions dated 28 September and 12 December 2025, flight frequencies will be increased on some routes, while existing capacity will be maintained on certain destinations.
Turkish Airlines has made significant changes to its flight schedule for European destinations as part of the 2026 summer season. According to the airline’s latest timetable updates dated 28 September 2025 and 12 December 2025, the number of flights has been increased on some Istanbul-origin routes.
Under the new planning, capacity increases are targeted particularly on Central and Western European routes in line with rising passenger demand, while existing flight frequencies will be maintained on some destinations.
Route-Based Flight Frequency Changes
The planned flight schedule arrangements announced by THY for the 2026 summer season are as follows:
Istanbul – Bilbao:
- As of 15 June 2026, it will continue with 7 weekly flights.
- (The previously planned increase to 11 weekly flights has been abandoned.)
Istanbul – Birmingham:
- Between 15 June 2026 and 11 September 2026,
- the weekly number of flights will be increased from 18 to 21.
Istanbul – Cluj:
- As of 29 March 2026, the weekly number of flights will be increased from 11 to 13.
Istanbul – London Stansted:
- From 29 March 2026, the weekly number of flights
- will be increased from 14 to 15.
