Turkish Airlines is taking a new step to strengthen air connectivity between Türkiye and Armenia. The national flag carrier is launching scheduled flights on the Istanbul–Yerevan route.
Turkish Airlines (THY) has decided to launch scheduled services between Istanbul and Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. Under the new route, the first flight is planned to be operated on 11 March 2026.
According to THY’s flight planning, the Istanbul–Yerevan route will initially be operated with 7 weekly frequencies in both directions. In line with increasing passenger demand, it is aimed to gradually increase the number of flights.
Accordingly;
- As of 14 May 2026, the weekly number of flights will be increased to 10 frequencies,
- From 15 June 2026 onwards, the route will operate at full capacity with 14 weekly frequencies.
Thanks to the new flight route, Turkish Airlines aims to make air transportation between Istanbul and Yerevan more frequent and regular, while also increasing commercial, touristic and cultural interaction between the two countries.
