The results of the World’s Best Airlines for 2025 have been announced. Airlines listed across different geographical regions were evaluated based on service quality, customer satisfaction, safety, and operational performance.
Best Airlines in Africa
Ethiopian Airlines ranked first, followed by Air Mauritius, RwandAir, South African Airways, and EgyptAir.
Best Airlines in Asia
Singapore Airlines maintained its top position, while Cathay Pacific, ANA, Korean Air, and Japan Airlines secured places in the top five.
Best Airlines in Australia/Pacific
Qantas Airways led the region. Air New Zealand and Fiji Airways ranked highly, with Virgin Australia and Jetstar also making the list.
Best Airlines in China
Hainan Airlines took first place. China Southern, China Eastern, West Air, and Spring Airlines were other notable names.
Best Airlines in Europe
Turkish Airlines was named Europe’s best airline in 2025. Air France came second, Swiss third, while British Airways and Lufthansa completed the top five.
Best Airlines in the Middle East
Qatar Airways topped the list, followed by Emirates, Saudia, Etihad Airways, and Gulf Air as the region’s strong performers.
Best Airlines in Central Asia and CIS
Air Astana was recognised as the region’s leading airline. Azerbaijan Airlines, FlyArystan, Uzbekistan Airways, and Qazaq Air also ranked in the top five.
Best Airlines in India/South Asia
IndiGo, with its extensive flight network, was selected as the best in the region. Air India, SriLankan Airlines, Akasa Air, and SpiceJet followed.
Best Airlines in North America
Air Canada ranked first in 2025. Delta Air Lines came second, with Porter Airlines in third place.
Best Airlines in South America
LATAM Airlines led the region. Azul, JetSMART, SKY Airline, and Avianca were also among the top performers.
Best Airlines in Central America/Caribbean
Copa Airlines topped the list. Caribbean Airlines, Arajet, and Air Caraïbes also secured leading positions.
Best Airlines in Western Europe
Air France was named the best in Western Europe. Swiss, British Airways, Lufthansa, and Virgin Atlantic completed the top five.
Best Airlines in Eastern Europe
LOT Polish Airlines ranked first in the region, followed by airBaltic, Air Serbia, Wizz Air, and CSA Czech Airlines.
Best Airlines in Northern Europe
Finnair secured the top spot in Northern Europe, with SAS Scandinavian and Norse Atlantic Airways also ranked highly.
Best Airlines in Southern Europe
Turkish Airlines also claimed the top position in Southern Europe. Iberia, Vueling, Volotea, and Aegean Airlines followed in the top five. Pegasus Airlines also made the list, representing Türkiye.
