Turkish Airlines (THY) Communications Director Yahya Üstün shared his thoughts on social media regarding President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s statements following the Cabinet Meeting. Üstün highlighted that while THY was a small airline with 65 aircraft in 2002, today it has reached the pinnacle of global aviation.
813 Aircraft and 171 Million Passenger Target for the 100th Anniversary
Üstün outlined THY’s future plans with the following words:
“We are preparing for our 100th year with a fleet of 813 aircraft and a target of 171 million passengers. With our more efficient and environmentally friendly aircraft, we will proudly fly our flag across every corner of the world.”
