The Aerospace, Space, and Technology Festival, TEKNOFEST TRNC 2025, will take place under the auspices of the Presidency of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) from May 1-4, 2025. Organized in collaboration with the Turkey Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation) and the Republic of Turkey’s Ministry of Industry and Technology, the festival will welcome technology enthusiasts at the old Ercan Airport in Nicosia.

A Total of 5.5 Million TL in Prizes and Support

According to a statement from the Presidency, TEKNOFEST TRNC 2025 will feature competitions in 7 main categories and 14 subcategories. Participants will have the chance to win a total of 2.5 million TL in prizes and receive 3 million TL in financial support. The statement also emphasized that TEKNOFEST TRNC 2025 will make a significant impact in the technology world with its newly introduced competitions.

During the festival, attendees will enjoy air shows, virtual reality tunnels, simulation experiences, concerts, and exclusive flight events for students, creating unforgettable memories.

Inspiring the Youth and Promoting TRNC

The main goal of TEKNOFEST TRNC 2025 is to increase young people’s interest in technology and support local and national technological advancements. The festival will also provide participants with the opportunity to showcase their projects, serving as an inspiration for technology enthusiasts. Additionally, with the participation of international attendees, the event is expected to play a crucial role in promoting the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

President Tatar: “TEKNOFEST TRNC 2025 is a Great Opportunity for Our Country”

Speaking on the event, TRNC President Ersin Tatar stated that TEKNOFEST TRNC 2025 would motivate Turkish Cypriot youth and play a key role in promoting the country. He expressed gratitude to Selçuk Bayraktar, Chairman of the Board of Baykar and Chairman of the T3 Foundation Board of Trustees, for bringing the event to Northern Cyprus.

“This event, which supports the national cause of the Turkish Cypriot people, will inspire our youth to develop new projects. Thanks to TEKNOFEST, our young people will take significant steps in technology, digitalization, and software development,” President Tatar said.

Over 750 Projects to Participate

President Tatar also announced that more than 750 projects from Turkey and various countries will participate in the festival, with approximately 150 projects from Northern Cyprus competing in the events.

Highlighting the importance of the festival’s broad participation, Tatar emphasized that TEKNOFEST TRNC 2025 will help shape the future vision of young people and serve as a key platform for promoting the country.
