In Nashik, India, according to reports in the national media, a Su-30 MKI fighter jet crashed during a test flight for reasons yet to be determined.
The two pilots survived the crash by using the ejection seat system. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) stated on the social media platform X that the pilots reported a technical malfunction during the flight and the cause of the crash will be clarified after an investigation.
The Su-30 MKI fighter jet is produced in India by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) under a license from Russia.
