Small Aircraft Crashes in Spain, Two People Killed

A plane crash near the settlement of Ponton Requena, in Spain’s autonomous community of Valencia, has plunged the region into mourning. According to reports by Cadena SER, a small aircraft went down at around 11:30 local time for reasons yet to be determined.

Witnesses Report Low Altitude

Several eyewitnesses stated that the aircraft was flying at a very low altitude and hit the ground within seconds. Upon impact, debris from the plane was scattered across agricultural fields.

Two People Lost Their Lives

Official sources confirmed that two people died in the crash. Local media reported that the deceased were most likely the only passenger and the pilot on board. Their identities have not yet been disclosed.

Post-Crash Fire Contained

Fragments of the aircraft sparked a small fire in the area. Thanks to the rapid intervention of the provincial fire consortium and the forest fire service teams, the flames were brought under control in a short time.
