The Kosovo Air Navigation Services Agency (ASHNA) announced that a German military aircraft arriving from Berlin to Pristina was unable to land at “Adem Jashari” International Airport due to heavy fog. It was stated that the aircraft did not have personnel certified for landing in low-visibility conditions.
ASHNA official Driton Ujkani told KOHA that only this flight was affected, stating:
“Other flights are continuing normally.”
Circled in the Air for Five Hours
Flight tracking system Flightradar24 showed that the aircraft took off from Berlin at 08:40 in the morning but headed toward Skopje after waiting over Pristina for an extended period.
As the hours passed, the aircraft repeatedly circled over Slatina but was still unable to land. By the time the flight clock reached 15:10, it was still airborne.

According to data, the German military aircraft was ultimately forced to land in Skopje.
KOHA, which contacted airport spokesperson Valentina Gara, stated that additional information would be shared once a response is received.
