Oman Air Erases Israel from Its Maps

Oman Air has removed Israel from its maps, replacing it with the term “State of Palestine.” The Omani Foreign Minister called on the international community to take concrete actions in support of Palestine.

Oman Air has removed the name of Israel from its flight maps, replacing it with the term “State of Palestine.”

Previously, Omani Foreign Minister Badr al-Busaidi sharply criticized the Zionist regime at the United Nations General Assembly, calling for international sanctions against it for “violating international law and attacking the sovereignty of nations.” The minister highlighted the necessity of global solidarity, responsibility, and collective cooperation.

Badr al-Busaidi emphasized that the Palestinian issue should be a priority for resolution, stating, “Now is the time to end the occupation and decades-long conflict and deprivation, and to achieve a two-state solution.” He noted that Israel has ignored international calls and refuses to engage in dialogue for a comprehensive and just solution. He also criticized Israel for continuing the use of force and suppressing the voice of reason, which threatens the credibility of the international order.

Al-Busaidi urged the international community to take steps to curb Israel’s policies of genocide, destruction of Palestinian lands, blockades, and starvation of the population. He also proposed launching a peaceful, global campaign aimed at lifting the blockade, ending oppression, and establishing an independent Palestinian state.
