-Operating in the aviation sector, Mavi Gök Aviation Inc. has announced that it is seeking a specialist-level Dispatcher to be assigned within the Flight Operations Department as part of its expanding operational structure.
A Strong Step in an Aviation Career
The position, which will be at the centre of airline operations, involves taking an active role in flight planning, operational coordination and flight monitoring processes. Candidates are expected to have a strong command of civil aviation regulations, be able to adapt to shift-based working patterns, and make effective decisions in a high-tempo operational environment.
General Qualifications Sought
- Preferably a graduate of a relevant associate or bachelor’s degree programme, particularly with education in the field of Civil Aviation,
- Good command of written and spoken English,
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team,
- Ability to adapt to shift-based and flexible working hours,
- For male candidates, completion of military service,
- Preferably residing in or able to relocate to Antalya,
- Proficiency in MS Office applications,
Ability to work under intense pressure and effectively manage workload.
Responsibilities of the Position
- Ensuring that daily flight operations are conducted on time and safely by coordinating with relevant OCC units,
- Preparing flight plans based on METAR, TAF, NOTAM, MEL/CDL and weather charts,
- Filing and monitoring ATC flight plans,
- Conducting pre-flight briefings for flight crews,
- Making route changes and fuel calculations when required,
- Monitoring flights from departure to arrival,
- Managing daily slot, overflight and landing permits,
- Producing proactive solutions during operational disruptions and coordinating with relevant units,
- Preparing daily operational schedules and sharing them with relevant departments,
- Ensuring full compliance with the SHY-UHU Regulation, ICAO Annex 1 and company operations manuals,
Submitting operational reports to relevant managers.
Medical and Regulatory Requirements
Candidates are required to have the necessary medical fitness for shift-based working and to comply with the regulations of the Turkish Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
