Accident Occurs During Training Flight
Kuwait Ministry of Defense Spokesperson Jassim Al-Saqr shared details of the incident on the social media platform X. Al-Saqr stated, “An F-18 fighter jet belonging to the Kuwaiti Air Force crashed during a training flight, and unfortunately, our pilot has passed away.”
The accident occurred in the afternoon in the northern region of the country. While investigations into the incident are ongoing, no official statement has yet been made regarding the cause of the crash.
The cause of the crash is being investigated, and the Kuwaiti military has launched a comprehensive inquiry into the incident.
