KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, based in the Netherlands and a key member of the SkyTeam alliance, is deepening its strategic cooperation with Saudi Arabia. KLM has expanded its code-sharing agreement to provide connecting flights to various cities in Saudi Arabia via Riyadh.
Under this new collaboration, flights operated by Saudi Arabia’s national carrier will be sold under KLM flight numbers. The code-sharing arrangement has come into effect.
New Code-Sharing Routes:
With the new agreement, KLM passengers will have access to the following domestic and regional routes via Riyadh:
KLM – Abu Dhabi
Riyadh – Al Baha
Riyadh – Amman
Riyadh – Bahrain
Riyadh – Doha
Riyadh – Gurayat
Riyadh – Red Sea Project
Riyadh – Sharurah
Riyadh – Tabuk
Riyadh – Turaif
Riyadh – Wadi al Dawaser
Riyadh – Yanbu
This expansion offers KLM customers more connectivity and destination options across the Middle East region, while supporting Saudi Arabia’s vision to become a global aviation hub.
KLM and its Saudi partners plan to open bookings for the new routes shortly. Thanks to this growing network, passengers will enjoy seamless and integrated flights from Europe to remote regions of Saudi Arabia.
