Willard InterContinental Washington, D.C. launched the Presidential Paws Menu, served through the hotel’s Cafe du Parc and Private Dining, drawing on the history of dogs that have lived in the capital. The menu includes entrees such as Lincoln’s Little Supper and Capital Catch Atlantic Salmon, along with treats including First Dog’s Peanut Butter Banana Pupcakes and Commander-in-Chew Classic Bone Biscuits.
Pet owners can also book the Pet Getaway Package, which adds a welcome pet gift box with a bowl, treats, a toy, pee pads and waste bags, plus a Willard-branded bandana.

In California wine country, The Ava Hotel Paso Robles, Curio Collection by Hilton introduced its Pamper Pet Package, which includes a welcome treat, a branded bandana, waste bags, an in-room bed, a blanket and a bowl. The hotel’s Pine Street Bistro also added a dog menu, with items including The Barker Bowl, made with ground beef, sweet potatoes, peas and carrots, the Ava Pup Cup, made with chicken stock gelee and whipped cream, and the Peanut Butter Frisbee, made with peanut butter and yogurt.
The hotel runs a weekly Paws on the Patio “yappy hour” on Thursdays from 4 to 7 p.m. with complimentary pup cups. The hotel is close to Paso Robles’ walkable downtown, pet-friendly tasting rooms, trails and Downtown City Park.

Set along historic Route 66, Americana Motor Hotel works as a base for Northern Arizona trips with dogs in tow. The Plaza Hotel Pioneer Park, El Paso, Texas
The Plaza Hotel Pioneer Park is adding several dog-focused offers this summer. On Aug. 26, guests can stop by the La Perla rooftop for a $20 Paws and Pour hour, which includes a “pupmosa” and two gourmet treats for dogs. The hotel’s Sun City Pawcation package covers a longer stay, adding a bandana, a pupcake baked by Pastry Chef Rojo, a welcome sign for the dog at check-in, water bowls, a plush dog bed and waste bags.
The hotel also reduced its pet fee to $35 per pet, down from $75, for up to two pets under 50 pounds.
