Statement from the Civil Aviation Department
Mustafa Sofi, Director of the Civil Aviation Department, stated to Kıbrıs Postası that predicting the GPS signal loss was impossible. Sofi explained, “The signal disruption occurred suddenly, and we couldn’t foresee this issue. So far, only one aircraft has been affected by this problem.”
