FTD.aero to Deliver EASA FNPT II MCC Simulators for Turkish Airlines

FTD.aero has signed a contract with the Turkish Airlines Flight Academy for the delivery of two EASA FNPT II MCC (APS) flight simulators. The airline-class FTD-2 standard devices were selected following comprehensive technical evaluations.

FTD.aero, one of the global manufacturers of flight simulator technologies, has signed an important contract with the Turkish Airlines Flight Academy covering the delivery of two EASA FNPT II MCC (APS) simulators. Both simulators will be produced with airline-class FTD-2 fidelity and in accordance with the latest international standards.

This agreement was reached following months of extensive evaluation. Throughout the process:

  • Advanced tests conducted by A320 and B737 experts,
  • On-site technical inspections at FTD.aero facilities and the Turkish Airlines Flight Academy,

as well as detailed technical discussions covering system performance, reliability, software architecture and training efficiency were carried out.

New simulators will strengthen training capacity

The FNPT II MCC (APS) simulators to be produced within the scope of the project stand out with advanced flight dynamics modelling, high-resolution visual systems and airline-level mission management capability. The devices are expected to significantly enhance the Turkish Airlines Flight Academy’s training infrastructure and contribute to increasing pilot training capacity.
