A significant development has taken place in the aviation industry. Mavi Gök Airlines has unexpectedly cut cabin crew salaries, sparking major controversy among employees.
As part of the airline’s new salary policy, the annual flight hour limit has been set at 480 hours. However, considering that flight hours could reach up to 600 hours during the April-October period, this new limit is expected to result in a substantial salary reduction.
Meanwhile, cabin crew members, who have been subjected to salary cuts, reacted strongly to the fact that other department employees received a 20-30% raise while only they faced reductions. Arguing that the policy is unfair, cabin crews have demanded a fair adjustment from company management.
