Emirates will offer a top-tier travel experience by introducing its revamped Boeing 777 aircraft with Premium Economy service on six U.S. routes and in Latin America. Starting in February 2025, flights to 10 of Emirates’ 12 U.S. destinations will feature Premium Economy.
The renewed Boeing 777s will serve routes to Chicago, Boston, Dallas Fort Worth, Seattle, Miami/Bogota, and Newark/Athens. These new aircraft will make their U.S. debut on the following dates:
- Chicago: From November 1, 2024, three weekly EK 235 and EK 236 flights will operate, increasing to daily services starting November 22, 2024.
- Boston: From December 10, 2024, three weekly EK 237 and EK 238 flights will operate, moving to daily services from December 18, 2024.
- Dallas Fort Worth: From January 9, 2025, three weekly EK 221 and EK 222 flights will be offered, with daily flights starting January 15, 2025.
- Seattle: From January 24, 2025, EK 229 and EK 230 will include Premium Economy in a four-cabin service.
- Newark/Athens: From February 10, 2025, EK 209 and EK 210 will operate daily.
- Miami/Bogota: Starting February 19, 2025, with four weekly flights, increasing to daily services from March 1, 2025.
In addition to Premium Economy, Emirates’ upgraded Boeing 777s will feature its signature Business Class seats, enhanced privacy, and a personal mini-bar. By 2025, Premium Economy will be available on flights to 12 U.S. destinations. It will also be introduced in Latin American cities like Bogota and Sao Paulo.
Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Chief Commercial Officer, highlighted the success of Premium Economy on upgraded A380s in cities such as New York JFK, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Houston. He expressed excitement about the new comfort and privacy the Boeing 777s will bring, reinforcing Emirates’ commitment to the U.S. and its dedication to enhancing customer experience.
By the end of 2024, Emirates will offer Premium Economy in 27 cities globally. The refurbished Boeing 777s will also be available in cities like Geneva, Tokyo Haneda, and Brussels, with future plans for Riyadh and Zurich flights.
The ongoing availability of Premium Economy will provide U.S. passengers with a comfortable and affordable travel option to destinations beyond Dubai, including Mumbai, Bangalore, and Singapore.
