Delta Air Lines is the US’s third-largest operator for international flights. Between July 2026 and March 2027, OAG data shows that the SkyTeam member plans an average of 244 daily departures. Compared to the same period in 2025-2026, international activity has jumped by 4%. Many new routes, some of which launched earlier this year, contributed.
From the current month until next March, Delta has scheduled 251 routes that’ll pass the US border. This figure excludes one-off services or otherwise time-limited operations. They’ll go from 19 hubs, fortress cities, and other airports. Not surprisingly, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) is by far the top hub for international links (75), followed by John F. Kennedy International Airport (49).
The following list was identified by analyzing Delta’s international network using OAG data. All such services that existed between January 2025 and June 2026 were compared to what’s available from July 2026 until March 2027. The entries, not all of which are new to Delta’s map, are summarized below. As all the markets have already been announced, this is simply a summary article about what is coming.
As is often the case, most of the links have already seen the carrier’s frames. Only one is new; it has not had any nonstop flights before. It will be covered in the following section. Notice that JFK to Tel Aviv does not appear below. That’s because Delta last operated the route in February 2026, before it was suspended again. It operated in the examined period.

Delta’s interest in Saudi Arabia is because of many things. For example, it’ll receive funding from the Saudi Air Connectivity Program, it has a codeshare agreement with fellow SkyTeam member Saudia, and Delta has a strategic partnership with the country’s startup carrier, Riyadh Air. The latter recently received approval from the US Department of Transportation to fly to the US.
On a great circle basis, ATL to RUH flights will cover 6,329 nautical miles (11,721 km) each way. They will be blocked at up to 15 hours and 35 minutes back to North America, with flights having headwinds. Delta will use the high-premium, 275-seat Airbus A350-900. This configuration has 40 seats in Delta One, 40 in Premium Select, 36 in Comfort+, and 159 in economy.
The choice of ATL to RUH was unsurprising. After all, Saudia already flies from the Saudi capital to JFK, and Riyadh Air probably will do so too. Delta was unlikely to fly to RUH from DTW or Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP). Nonetheless, the existing ATL to RUH market is tiny, with fewer than 5,000 round-trip passengers last year.
While that existing traffic level was very low for a brand-new long-haul market, it was more than for ATL to Marrakech, which started last year. As with that link to Morocco, Delta will increase the local RUH traffic by several times. However, it will still rely considerably on connecting traffic via ATL, including to/from LAX (18,000), San Francisco (9,000), Chicago (8,000), Dallas (6,000), and Houston (5,000).

Delta Will Reintroduce Flights From LAX To Canada
Delta has big plans for its LAX hub. OAG indicates that it is already comfortably the airport’s leading operator. In 2026, the carrier will have more seats for sale than in any other year, with capacity exceeding the prior record, held in 2019, by 4%. However, if departures are considered instead, 2026 is only at the fifth-highest level to date.
Multiple new routes will launch or resume in 2026, including YVR, which last saw Delta’s frames from LAX eight years ago. It will mark the airline’s reintroduction of flights from LAX to Canada. It’ll be the airport pair’s sixth nonstop operator, joining Air Canada, American Airlines, Flair Airlines, United Airlines, and WestJet. They’ll collectively have up to ten daily departures. The prior record was 15 daily services, which was last available 19 years ago.
