The Presidential Cabinet, chaired by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, convenes today in Beştepe with an intense agenda covering Türkiye’s security and foreign policy issues. The first item on the agenda will be the ongoing investigation into the plane crash in which 20 soldiers were martyred.
The technical work to determine what caused the aircraft to break apart will be evaluated in detail. Data retrieved from the aircraft’s black box is expected to clarify the final moments in the cockpit.
Following the cabinet meeting, President Erdoğan is expected to make a comprehensive statement.
