Carrying 10 million passengers annually, Corendon’s analysis of customer preferences and travel habits reveals the panorama of the 2025 season with fun statistics.
At the same time, Corendon Airlines also announced its 2026 summer flight plan. Compared with 2025, the airline will increase seat capacity by 20% in the German, Austrian, Swiss, Polish and UK markets, offering passengers an extensive network of flights to Turkey, Greece, Spain/Canary Islands, Egypt and Morocco.

Corendon’s 2025 holiday data highlights not only interesting details about passenger experiences but also the airline’s contribution to tourism.
Antalya: Meeting point for German holidaymakers with over 1,000 flights
Turkey’s tourism capital, Antalya, continues to attract strong interest. In 2025, Antalya became the meeting point for German holidaymakers with over 1,000 flights from Düsseldorf, Hanover and Cologne.
Holiday meals began on board
The highest number of meal orders was placed on the Warsaw – Antalya route. With one passenger eating four portions alone, holiday tastes began right on the plane. On the Rotterdam – Antalya route, passengers ordered three times more meals than on other flights, proving that “nobody goes hungry on holiday.”
Packed suitcases, complete holiday!
The most baggage was carried on the Antalya – Newcastle route. Guests travelling with as many as 18 suitcases under one booking showed how long a holiday essentials list can be. This luggage load became living proof of the thought, “So many things are needed for a holiday.”
Seat selection curiosity
On the Heraklion – Manchester route, 60% of passengers chose their seats, showing that “Who will sit next to me?” mattered most on this flight.
Largest group trip
On a Cologne – Antalya flight, 100 passengers travelled under a single booking. The group brought the excitement of a holiday togetherness into the sky with the spirit of “We’re ready for Antalya!”
Little passengers turned the plane into a party!
The flight with the highest number of children in 2025 was Diyarbakır – Hanover, with 54 passengers under the age of 12. It was a lively flight where silence was rare, as the children turned the journey into a sky-high party.
Record in early booking
Planners stood out once again this year. One passenger booked a ticket 655 days in advance, sending the message: “I’ll be there, get ready!” In addition, 12 out of every 100 passengers enjoyed economical travel with discounted tickets, saying, “I want to fly at a good price and keep my wallet happy!”

Corendon Airlines welcomed everyone, from a 17-day-old baby to a 95-year-old guest, creating space in the sky for “every season of life.”
Gender balance on board
The passenger distribution was recorded as 55% male and 45% female. In the armrest battle, men were slightly ahead.

20% SEAT CAPACITY INCREASE IN SUMMER 2026
Crowning its 20th anniversary in 2025 with major achievements, Corendon Airlines is preparing for the upcoming season with even greater goals. With its 2026 summer flight plan, Corendon Airlines will increase seat capacity in the German, Austrian, Swiss, Polish and UK markets by 20%.
Announcing its 2026 summer schedule, the airline will boost capacity in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland and the UK by 20% compared with 2025. Corendon passengers will have the opportunity to travel with a wide network of flights spanning Turkey, Greece, Spain/Canary Islands, Egypt and Morocco.
Four bases in Germany strengthened
The number of aircraft will be increased at the Düsseldorf, Cologne/Bonn, Hanover and Nuremberg bases, with Antalya flights in particular being expanded. There will be three daily flights from Düsseldorf and two daily flights from the other bases to Antalya.
New route to Greece and expansion in Egypt
The Münster/Osnabrück – Heraklion route will be added to the flight programme for the first time. Flights from Nuremberg, Düsseldorf and Cologne/Bonn to Hurghada will increase from three to five per week. In addition, flights from Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Stuttgart and Vienna to Hurghada, the Canary Islands and Mallorca will continue throughout the summer season.
Poland as a growth market
Carrying 10 million passengers annually, Corendon Airlines is also significantly increasing its capacity in Poland and responding to growing demand with new routes.
