AJet Modernises Its Fleet: Three New Aircraft in Two Weeks

AJet Strengthens Its Fleet with Factory-Fresh Boeing 737-8 MAX Aircraft

Türkiye’s youngest airline, AJet, continues to expand its fleet with brand-new, next-generation aircraft. The company’s third new aircraft, a Boeing 737-8 MAX registered as TC-OHD, was delivered from the United States to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport. After undergoing standardisation and seat installation processes in the hangar, the aircraft will begin scheduled operations.

Three New Aircraft in Two Weeks

As part of its young fleet strategy, AJet has added three new Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft in just two weeks. The process began in early August with the delivery of aircraft registered as TC-OHA and TC-OHB, and continued with the arrival of TC-OHD in Istanbul.

Company officials stated that a fourth aircraft (TC-OHC) is expected to join the fleet by the end of August. AJet aims to add around 10 factory-fresh Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft to its fleet by the end of the year.

First Flight with Domestic Seats

Two aircraft, TC-OHA and TC-OHB, which completed the standardisation process, were fitted with locally produced seats manufactured by TCI Aircraft Interiors, a subsidiary of Turkish Airlines.

Among them, TC-OHB operated its first scheduled flight on 22 August from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen to Bodrum Airport.

With its young and modern fleet, AJet is accelerating its operations while aiming to provide passengers with a more comfortable and safer flight experience.
