Corendon Airlines to Recruit B737NG/MAX Captain Pilots for Its Antalya Base. The 2026 training and contract schedule for experienced captains has been announced.

Corendon Airlines has announced that it will recruit Boeing 737NG/MAX captain pilots for its Antalya base. Training will begin in February 2026, and contract details have been disclosed.

Corendon Airlines, the first airline of the Corendon Tourism Group, has announced that it will recruit Boeing 737NG/MAX Captain Pilots to be based at its Antalya/Türkiye hub. In line with its growing operations, the company aims to add experienced and qualified flight crew to its fleet.

A New Captain Call from a 20-Year-Old Airline

Founded in 2005 under the Turkish registry, Corendon Airlines operated its first flight on 12 April 2005 on the Eindhoven – Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen route. Having demonstrated steady growth since its establishment, the airline currently operates a fleet of 22 Boeing 737NG and 6 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.

In its 20th anniversary year, Corendon Airlines, together with its sister company Corendon Airlines Europe, operates flights to 165 destinations in 65 countries and carries 6 million passengers annually. This operational scale positions the company among the leading airlines in Türkiye and Europe.

Requirements for Captain Pilot Candidates

Applicants for the captain pilot position opened for Corendon Airlines’ Antalya base must meet the following criteria:

  • ICAO- or EASA-approved flight crew licence with IFR rating
  • B737-300/900 (Classic or NG/MAX) type rating
  • Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
  • Minimum of 5,000 total flight hours
  • At least 1,500 hours as commander on B737 CL or NG/MAX aircraft
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil aviation
  • ICAO English language proficiency Level 4
  • No accident or incident history
  • High motivation, a proactive approach, and the ability to work in a multicultural environment

Training and Contract Details

The first phase of the conversion training is planned to begin in Antalya in February and March 2026. Additional training programmes will also be organised throughout the winter season.

Successful candidates will be offered an initial contract valid until 7 November 2026, which may be extended depending on performance and operational requirements.
