The Turkish defense industry delegation, featuring leading companies such as ASELSAN, ROKETSAN, TUSAŞ, and Sarsılmaz, will represent Turkey at the International Defense Fair and Conference (SIDEC 2025) in Slovenia, led by SAHA Istanbul.
Turkey’s defense industry capacity will be strongly represented at the International Defense Fair and Conference (SIDEC 2025), one of Europe’s leading defense events. The Turkish defense delegation, formed under the leadership of SAHA Istanbul, includes leading sector organizations such as ASELSAN, ROKETSAN, Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ), and Sarsılmaz.
The delegation will be present at the Turkey Pavilion, established under the coordination of the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB), during the fair starting on Tuesday and running until October 24. The event will host 165 companies from 19 countries and is expected to stand out as one of the most important gatherings of the European defense ecosystem.
Expanding Industrial Diplomacy
SAHA Istanbul emphasized that participation in SIDEC 2025 is of great importance for promoting Turkey’s defense and aerospace industry capabilities, increasing technological cooperation, and developing new strategic partnerships in Europe.
The cluster will deepen its cooperation with Slovenia’s leading defense cluster GOIS within the framework of the memorandum of understanding signed in 2023. During the B2B meetings held throughout the fair, topics such as joint production, technology sharing, and supply chain integration will be discussed.
These contacts aim to contribute to SAHA Istanbul’s vision of industrial diplomacy and support Turkey’s export-oriented defense strategy.
The Path to SAHA 2026
SIDEC 2025 will also provide a strategic platform for the SAHA 2026 International Defense, Aviation, and Aerospace Industry Fair to be held in Istanbul from May 5–9, 2026.
SAHA 2026, expected to host 1,478 companies from over 120 countries, will become one of Turkey’s largest defense industry events with a targeted business volume exceeding $6 billion.
The SAHA Istanbul delegation will meet with potential participant companies in Slovenia and discuss Slovenia’s participation in SAHA 2026 with a national pavilion.
