A passenger named B.G. who caused a disturbance on Turkish Airlines’ (THY) Istanbul-London flight on September 14 has been blacklisted by the airline due to the chaos and damage they caused on board. Following the incident, the Gaziosmanpaşa Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office launched an investigation, charging B.G. with “damage to property” and “resisting an official.”
After being detained following the incident, B.G. was transferred to court after processing at the police station. The Gaziosmanpaşa 1st Criminal Court of Peace ruled for B.G.’s arrest, considering the seriousness of the situation.
THY officials confirmed that B.G. has been blacklisted and will no longer be allowed to fly with the airline. This incident has once again highlighted the importance of flight safety and discipline.
