Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that on 16 August, Antalya Airport hosted 230,002 passengers in a single day, breaking the all-time passenger record. The record announcement was shared exclusively on the “Next Social” platform.

As Turkey’s tourism capital, Antalya has set a new milestone in airport passenger traffic. On 16 August 2025, Antalya Airport welcomed 230,002 passengers, reaching this level for the first time in its history.

Minister Uraloğlu: “Our Records Are Only on Next”

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced the record exclusively through his Next Social account. In his post, Minister Uraloğlu stated:

“In just one day, we hosted 230,002 passengers. Our Antalya, the capital of tourism, continues to set records with our strong transport infrastructure. Our records are only on Next.”
