As of April 2, 2026, AJet has added its 106th destination to its flight network by opening the Ankara–Bucharest route. Reciprocal flights will be operated three times a week.
A New Air Bridge from Ankara to Bucharest
AJet continues to expand its international flight network from Ankara. By adding the Bucharest route to its destinations, the company has established a direct air bridge between the two capitals.
It was reported that the flights, which will start as of April 2, 2026, will be operated reciprocally three times a week.

Reached 106 Destinations
With the launch of the new route, AJet has increased the number of destinations in its flight network to 106.
It was stated that the company has achieved rapid growth and expanded its operational network in a short period following its first flight on March 31, 2024.

28 New Routes Opened in 18 Countries
As one of Türkiye’s youngest airlines, AJet operates across a wide geography extending from Europe to the Middle East, and from the Turkic Republics to North Africa.
During this period:
- In 18 countries
- 28 new routes were opened
- A total of 42.5 million passengers were served
It was stated that the company aims to carry 25 million passengers by the end of 2026.
Next-Generation Aircraft Are Being Added to the Fleet
It was reported that AJet continues its fleet investments as part of its growth strategy. Since August 2025, 18 brand-new aircraft have been added to the fleet, and a total of 46 more new aircraft, including Boeing 737-8 MAX and Airbus NEO types, are planned to join during 2026.
By the end of the year, approximately 80 percent of the fleet is targeted to consist of next-generation aircraft.

Safety and International Standards at the Forefront
AJet has placed flight safety at the center of its operations, successfully passed IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) inspections in a short time, and became a member of the International Air Transport Association.
These developments were stated to be a result of the company’s strong operational structure and collaborations established with stakeholders.

Maintaining Its Growth Momentum
It was stated that AJet continues to grow through new routes, fleet investments, and international partnerships, and aims to strengthen its position globally in the upcoming period.
