European aircraft manufacturer Airbus delivered 50 jets in September. Despite a slow start to the third quarter, the company managed to increase its delivery pace by the end of the month, according to industry sources. While this number reflects a slight decrease compared to the 55 deliveries made during the same period last year, Airbus remains committed to achieving its annual delivery targets.
Airbus is set to release its official monthly delivery data on October 9. The company had already delivered 447 aircraft between January and August, and it is on track to meet its goal of 770 deliveries for 2024. This suggests that a stronger performance will be needed in the fourth quarter, when deliveries typically ramp up.
