Access to Turkish Airlines Content from a Single Screen
AirBooking, an IATA-certified NDC distribution platform, has announced that it has been officially approved as a TKCONNECT partner by Turkish Airlines. This strategic partnership provides travel agencies and corporate clients with access to exclusive Turkish Airlines content and fares that are not available through traditional Global Distribution Systems (GDS).
George Rajan, AirBooking’s Head of Experience, commented on the announcement:
“Receiving this certification from Turkish Airlines marks a significant milestone in our mission to revolutionise airline distribution. Agencies can now access a comprehensive GDS inventory along with exclusive NDC content from a single screen, manage ancillary services, and benefit from cost savings.”
Maximum Benefits with a Unified Platform
AirBooking’s unified platform combines Turkish Airlines’ NDC 21.3-compliant TKCONNECT content with GDS inventory, enabling agencies to manage ancillary services such as seat selection, baggage, and upgrades in a single transaction. In addition, the removal of the USD 24 GDS surcharge, in effect since October 2024, offers agencies a direct cost advantage.
Corporate clients benefit from customised fare structures, consolidated reporting, policy compliance tools, and direct airline relationships, providing operational efficiency and access to exclusive promotions.
Proven Leadership in NDC
Since obtaining its first IATA NDC Level 4 certification in 2019, AirBooking has completed numerous successful integrations and industry implementations. The platform delivers cost savings of up to 50–70% compared with traditional GDS solutions.
George Rajan added, “Our partnership with Turkish Airlines demonstrates how modern airline retailing should be: comprehensive content, transparent pricing, and significant cost advantages.”
