One of the world’s largest aviation events, EAA Oshkosh AirVenture, is joyfully continuing at Wittman Regional Airport in the state of Wisconsin, USA. Guests arriving for the event, which takes place from July 22-28, are making the airport more crowded by the day.
In the homebuilt aircraft section, Dennis Reynolds, posing with a friend in front of the N241BP tail-registered aircraft, ranked 316th, made special statements to our newspaper. Reynolds said, “My plane is a Bearhawk Patrol, it has very tough controls. We flew here from Oregon, the West Coast. It was a 14.5-hour flight. We reached an average speed of 180 km/h. We will be here all week. Our plane is homebuilt, we built it in Oshkosh. We built this plane and the other one next to it together, they are both the same. My plane, N240BP, is the black-and-white one. The bright yellow one belongs to my friend Donna Svoboda. We are not married but we are life partners. We’ve been living together for thirty years,” he said.
Throughout the event, homebuilt planes and aviation enthusiasts gather at Wittman Regional Airport to share their experiences and showcase their flying skills.
