Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated in an announcement yesterday evening that Ukrainian military forces had shot down a Russian Su-25 attack aircraft in the Donetsk region.
Zelensky said, “I also want to specifically mention the 110th Mechanized Brigade soldiers who shot down another Russian Su-25 aircraft in the Donetsk region. Good job, guys.”
President Zelensky reported throughout the day that Russia targeted various regions of Ukraine. “Our soldiers who defended the sky throughout the day were very busy. Regions of Kharkiv, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk. Our fighters shot down 13 ‘Shahed’ unmanned aerial vehicles. Throughout the day, Russian terrorists used various types of 8 missiles and approximately 70 guided bombs against our border communities and positions on the front line. Russian malice does not diminish its desire to bring destruction even on the eve of Easter. It is up to us, all of us, and all those who truly help Ukraine to determine where this destruction will stop and when the occupier will lose,” he said.”
