Airports Council International (ACI World) has recognised Ankara Esenboğa, Izmir Adnan Menderes, Tbilisi and Skopje airports with awards under its Airport Service Quality (ASQ) programme. The awards were determined based on passenger evaluations.
Türkiye and the Region at the Top in the ASQ Awards
Ankara Esenboğa, Izmir Adnan Menderes, Tbilisi Airport and Skopje Airport, operated by TAV Airports, have been honoured under the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) programme.
The awards will be presented to their recipients during the ACI Customer Experience Global Summit to be held in Istanbul on 2 September.
Award-Winning Airports and Categories
Ankara Esenboğa Airport – Europe 5–15 million passengers category:

- Most Enjoyable Airport
Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport – same category:
- Best Departing Passenger Experience
- Easiest Airport Journey
- Most Enjoyable Airport
- Cleanest Airport
Tbilisi Airport – Europe 2–5 million passengers category:
- Best Departing Passenger Experience
- Airport with the Most Dedicated Staff
- Easiest Airport Journey
- Most Enjoyable Airport
- Cleanest Airport
Skopje Airport – Europe:
- Easiest Airport Journey
- Induction into the Honour Roll
Ankara Esenboğa and Izmir Adnan Menderes airports were inducted into the “ACI World Director General’s Roll of Excellence”, which recognises airports that have won multiple ASQ awards over the past 10 years and to which only eight airports are admitted each year.
Global Standard in Passenger Satisfaction

It was also noted that 113 million passengers were served at the airports last year.
