TC-OHR and TC-OHS in Turkey: AJet Strengthens with Its New Aircraft

AJet fleet takes an important step in its modernization strategy by receiving two new Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft. With a total of 37 next-generation aircraft joining the fleet in 2026, the company aims for 76% of its fleet to consist of next-generation aircraft.

Turkey’s youngest airline, AJet, is steadfastly advancing its strategy to modernize its fleet with next-generation aircraft. The factory-fresh Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft, registered as TC-OHR and TC-OHS, have joined the AJet fleet.

A delivery ceremony for the aircraft joining the fleet was held at Boeing’s production center in Seattle, USA, with the participation of AJet executives.

On November 12, AJet’s 9th aircraft, registered as TC-OHR, arrived in Istanbul, while on November 14, the 10th aircraft, registered as TC-OHS, landed at Sabiha Gökçen Airport. The planes flew from the USA to Turkey on a 13-hour flight and were taken to the hangar. After the completion of the assembly process of the Miligram seats, developed by Turkish engineers for standardization, the aircraft will start scheduled flights in a short time.

With 37 Boeing 737-MAX aircraft scheduled to join the AJet fleet in 2026, it is targeted that 76% of the fleet will consist of next-generation aircraft next year.
