Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ), known for its significant collaborations shaping the development of future technologies, will continue to contribute to the “TÜBİTAK 1515 IMPET Pioneer R&D Laboratory Development Project” for another 5 years.
TUSAŞ completed the initial phase of the “TÜBİTAK 1515 IMPET Pioneer R&D Laboratory Development Project” in January 2024, after first joining in 2019. During this period, various projects were conducted in the fields of advanced composite materials, functional coatings, and additive manufacturing technologies. The studies on aerospace technologies were carried out comprehensively, starting from fundamental research levels to the stage of models or prototypes. Throughout this process, the technological achievements were disseminated to the public through more than 80 international scientific publications.
Starting with 12 specialists in 2019 with the support of TÜBİTAK 1515, the project played a significant role in employing our country’s expert R&D teams in critical projects. The number of experts tripled within the project, while also hosting many students as part of its activities.
