$35.4 Million Agreement Signed for AC-C2CS

Leidos Australia has secured a $35.4 million contract to deliver the Australian Department of Defence’s Air Component Command and Control Capability System (AC-C2CS) sustainment programme. The programme will strengthen the efficiency and continuity of air operations.

Leidos Australia to Deliver Air Component Command and Control System Sustainment Programme

Leidos Australia has been selected by the Department of Defence’s Joint Systems Division to deliver the sustainment programme for the Air Component Command and Control Capability System (AC-C2CS). The contract is of critical importance for the effectiveness and sustainability of defence operations.

$35.4 Million Initial Contract

Paul Chase, Chief Executive of Leidos Australia, said: “We are proud of the trust placed in us by the Department of Defence. As an experienced sustainment provider, we will deliver pragmatic, mission-focused solutions.”

The contract is valued at $35.4 million for the initial four-year period, with an option to extend for a further six years. Under the programme, Leidos will provide on-site sustainment services including operational support, engineering, and training for AC-C2CS.

The Role of AC-C2CS

AC-C2CS is a software suite that supports the planning, execution, and management of aviation operations for the Australian Defence Force. The system delivers air operations command and control (AirC2), intelligence, targeting, and situational awareness.

Leidos’ Experience and Contribution

Leidos’ delivery of the project builds on its experience in local mission software development and support for the Department of Defence’s largest C4ISR systems. In addition, its expertise in cybersecurity across deployed and strategic networks will ensure continuity of service.

To support a smooth transition to critical mission capability and ongoing service delivery, Leidos will collaborate with SPIRIT Group.
