Significant improvements made in both salaries and social benefits for employees
The Turkish Airlines subsidiaries, Turkish Ground Services (TGS) and Turkish Airlines Support Services Inc. (TSS), have announced salary and social benefit adjustments for the second half of 2025. According to the official announcement, TGS employees received a 15% salary increase, while base salaries at TSS were increased by 13% to 18%, depending on job title.
The new adjustments, effective from 1 July 2025, go beyond just salary increases. Birth and bereavement assistance payments have been raised from TRY 17,500 to TRY 25,000, while marriage assistance payments have increased from TRY 17,500 to TRY 40,000. Additionally, the support provided for the birth of a third child or more was increased from TRY 22,500 to TRY 40,000.
Up to 60% Increase in Shift Premiums
Another notable aspect of the announcement concerns shift workers. Shift premiums and additional payments for employees under TSS have been improved by up to 60%. These increases are expected to result in a significant boost to employees’ total earnings.
It was noted that the updated salaries will be reflected in the payslips to be issued on Tuesday, 5 August.
