Turkish pilot Gökçe Kübra Yıldırım has made history by becoming the first woman in Turkey to be appointed as a chief pilot of the Airbus A380. Renowned for her achievements in the aviation industry, Yıldırım has reached yet another significant milestone in her career.

Starting her aviation career as a trainee pilot at Turkish Airlines (THY), Yıldırım now serves as a captain pilot at one of Dubai’s largest airlines, boasting 12 years of experience. By taking on the role of chief pilot for the Airbus A380 the world’s largest double-deck aircraft she has achieved a remarkable feat and continues to advance steadily in her profession.
