Turkish Airlines (THY) Senior Vice President of Media Relations Yahya Üstün clarified the reports in the press regarding the purchase of Boeing aircraft. Üstün stated, “Our negotiations with Boeing have been ongoing for quite some time. However, no final decision has been made yet.”
Üstün noted that the discussions with the US-based aircraft manufacturer Boeing are being closely monitored and emphasised that various alternatives are being evaluated as part of the airline’s strategic fleet planning.
With Yahya Üstün’s statement, it has once again been officially confirmed that no final decision has yet been reached in the process regarding a possible aircraft purchase from Boeing.
