Turkish Airlines (THY) Amman Office organised a special award ceremony for the agencies it collaborates with in Jordan. During the event held in Amman, various awards were presented to successful agencies, and through a raffle, participants were gifted flight tickets with THY to various destinations in Türkiye and around the world.
“We Operate 28 Weekly Flights Between Amman and Türkiye”
Speaking at the ceremony, Taner Erim, THY’s Jordan Office Manager, stated that they operate 28 weekly flights between Amman and Türkiye. He noted that THY’s flights to Amman began with a single frequency in 1982, and reaching 28 weekly flights today is a source of pride for them.
Erim emphasised that these flights not only facilitate travel but also serve as “an important bridge that brings families, people, and cultures closer together.”
“We Overcame Challenges Through Cooperation”
Referring to the difficulties faced in recent years in both the regional and global aviation sectors, Erim stated that thanks to the steadfast support of the agencies working with THY, they successfully overcame all challenges. He underscored that this strong cooperation has enabled THY to strengthen its presence in the region.
THY Aims for a Fleet of 835 Aircraft by 2033
Touching on THY’s global operations, Erim reminded that Turkish Airlines is the airline flying to the most countries worldwide. He stated that the current modern fleet of 506 aircraft is planned to increase to 835 by 2033.
Erim also noted that THY currently operates flights to 342 destinations in 123 countries, and this capacity continues to expand each year.
