Turkish Airlines announced in a statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) that it has decided to sell all its shares in Air Albania SHPK, in which it holds a 49% stake. In line with the Board of Directors’ decision, the share transfer process has officially begun.
The statement included the following: “Our Board of Directors has decided to sell all shares held by our Partnership in Air Albania SHPK, in which we have a 49% stake. Significant developments regarding the matter will be shared with our investors.”
Turkish Airlines stated that the sale transaction is being carried out within the framework of the company’s strategic evaluations and that the public will be informed transparently throughout all stages of the process.
